Baking cookies in the air fryer

Is much easier than you think. No one can argue that air fryers have been a growing presence in our kitchen for quite some time now. Often used for a quick meal or easy snacks. If you are still not quite sure about using them for baking, cookie dough in the air fryer is a great place to start. The air fryer will cook the cookies to perfection in minutes. More importantly, they will fill your kitchen with the perfect nostalgic magical fresh cookie smell.

If you already tried cookie dough in the air fryer and want to try a cookie recipe from scratch, make sure to look at our Doubletree chocolate chip cookies (copycat) we made in the air fryer. Or check out our funfetti cookies we made with a cake mix.

Why does baking cookie dough in the air fryer work?

    • Easy: No need to preheat the oven or wait to make the dough.
    • Quick: You will enjoy a nice warm cookie in just under 10 minutes. No extra dishes.
    • Texture: Crispy on the outside and an ooey gooey middle.
    • Convenient: You can cook just one to a few cookies at a time.
    • Everyone can help: Have the little ones help you. Great activity to enjoy together and get them first initiated in the joy of baking.

    Pro Tip

Using parchment paper in the air fryer basket will make it easier to release the cookies, and make cleaning a breeze. However, always make sure there is some sort of weight on the parchment paper before starting the air fryer.
