    Sugar Cookie Recipe Tip

The trick to getting the sugar cookies so smooth and tasty is air. It is done when mixing the butter and the sugars together at the beginning. This is an important step before adding the dry ingredients to get those air bubbles incorporated. Those bubbles are what give the fluffy and light texture to your air fryer sugar cookies.

    Sugar Cookie Icing

Now, you can enjoy these cookies as is. They are great with coffee, tea, or as a wonderful little treat.
But, of course, you are going to want to decorate them. The Kitchen Bucket List’s recipe is simple, with just two ingredients. The key is to make sure the icing is not too thick. What you are looking for while mixing is a consistency similar to honey. The icing will pass around the spoon, separate, and come back together within 8-10 seconds.

    FAQS

How long can I store the sugar cookie dough?

It is good for 2-3 days in the refrigerator. Just make sure to bring it up to room temperature before rolling out the dough.

I don’t have a piping bag. Is there some way I can still decorate?

If you don’t have a piping bag you can use a zip-top bag and cut the corner.

Why do you use powdered sugar in the cookies?

I like to add powdered sugar to my cookies because it makes the cookies more tender and chewy by absorbing the moisture.

Have a Holiday Party with …

Eggnog is so easy in the Ninja Foodi with a smooth and light creamy texture. You can have this simple homemade eggnog right at your fingertips with just the right hint of vanilla. We prefer the homemade's lighter texture than the heavier store-bought. You can serve it hot or cold for a cup of Holiday Cheer with your favorite cookie. Of course, don't forget to add nutmeg for that Christmas pizazz. Yum!

Ninja Foodi Eggnog is done in under 20 minutes. Let it cool while you and Santa’s little helpers decorate the sugar cookies.

Looking for a new snack? One that is quick and easy but more importantly everyone will love. I found it, Air Fryer Chocolate Roasted Almonds. It only takes a few minutes to make, the right amount of sweetness, crunch, and the chocolate flavor will make you want to have more.

Chocolate Roasted Almonds are semi-sweet and roasted in no time. Make them ahead so they can cool before the party.

This Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding is the best of both worlds. The top layer is perfectly crisp with a golden buttery crunch. The pudding's mixture gives every bite the ideal sweetness of a childhood treat.

Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding a taste of your childhood that can be served hot or cold for your Holiday party.

You are going to devour these Funfetti Cookies. They have a perfectly crispy edge and a soft chewy center. Better yet it is a big cookie, that is fit for a dessert all by itself.

    • ½ cup (1 stick) salted butter (room temperature)
    • ¼ cup powdered sugar
    • ¼ cup granulated sugar
    • 1 egg
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Frosting

    • 1 cup powdered sugar
    • 2 tablespoons milk

    Sugar Cookie Icing

    • While the sugar cookies are cooling you can prepare your icing. Mix the powdered sugar and milk together.
    • Put the icing in a piping bag.
    • Pipe the outline of the cookies first. This is a great way to create a barrier so the frosting won’t leak out.
    • Decorate as desired with your favorite sprinkles or colored sugars.
