Welcome to The Kitchen Bucket List. My name is Karina and I am very excited to share with you our Simple, Easy, and Tasty recipes. After years of cooking and baking with my girls, where even dad shows up from time to time, especially for the BBQ, The Kitchen Bucket List was created in Spring 2020.
The kitchen is where we all like to gather, have coffee, have great conversations, and obviously prepare fantastic food. After years of traveling and enjoying food everywhere from Hawaii to Italy, we all have developed our favorite dishes to create.
Let me introduce you to the creative team. They are behind all these delightful recipes that everyone can enjoy no matter your experience in the kitchen.
I am passionate about adventure and learning. The kitchen is my happy place. My first experience in the cooking world was at the local bakery, right across the street. I was hooked on all things baked.
Proud Mama of 2 amazing girls, we have spent hours in the kitchen figuring out how to make our ideas become reality.
The Kitchen Bucket List is a project where we all share our ideas and our expertise. I am all about baking bread, cookies, and fun pastries. I love learning from everyone on the team, from outdoor cooking to spices, and no-bake goods to fun drinks.
I started cooking young with garlic bread and got pretty good at cooking in my dorm room, shhh, don’t tell the University. Food for me is an experience and an adventure from dining on an MRE in the surface zone to Tagliolini al Tartufo in Italy. My passion is cooking with fire. During our years in Italy, I’d share BBQ recipes with Italians and they would share their Italian recipes with us.
Karina made crêpes on cast iron when we were in Monterey, California and I was back in Paris. Cast iron has been a staple for us ever since, and now I have a new toy to cook with, the Blackstone 36 Griddle.
I will be sharing BBQ and Blackstone recipes for you all to enjoy.
Francesca is our spice and pasta expert. After our recent trip to Italy, Francesca was able to cook and test original recipes with our Italian friends. She had conversations packed with tips and tricks and fell in love with spices. Francesca has a gift on how to use spices to create new flavors in dishes. She learned early on that dishes can have a whole new taste by using just a few different spices.
Vittoria is our no-bake and smoothie expert. Francesca and her started out in the kitchen with me. Vittoria’s first recipe was edible cook dough and from then on she has had a taste for sweet treats. She always has some new creative ideas for sweet or savory recipes. Also, she is a big help behind the scenes with her hands doing cameos in the pictures quite often. She is always helping to set up the pictures for you all to enjoy in the blog post.
Nika is our trusted team leader and keeps us all on time. Always excited and ready to celebrate with us when we finalize a new recipe. Constantly at my feet and ready to steal a piece of cheese or apple. She has discovered that some recipes are made just for her…”It’s a Dog’s Life!”
