With a simple drizzle of your favorite frosting, you can decorate these Holiday rice krispie teats how you want. Use a piping bag or even a Ziploc bag with the corner cut to size, then the rice krispie treats become a canvas for your imagination. You can add colorful sprinkles to perhaps some melted chocolate. You can use a flavored glaze or just keep them plain. This is what makes Rice Krispies treats magic in a pan.

Sprinkle is excited to share with you our Simple, Easy, and Tasty recipes. She has traveled for years and enjoyed food everywhere from Hawaii to Italy. Now she is the muse for The Kitchen Bucket List helping us develop and create our favorite dishes to bring to all of you.

    Equipment

    • 9×13 baking dish
    • Saucepan (5 qt.)
    • Spatula
    • Fork

    Ingredients

    • 16 oz mini marshmallows (1 ½ bags)
    • 5 tablespoons butter
    • ½ tablespoon pumpkin spice
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal (Favorite crispy rice cereal)

    Instructions

    • Butter a 9×13 baking dish. Set aside.
    • In a large saucepan, add the marshmallows and butter.
    • Over medium-low heat, stir until the marshmallows and butter are completely melted.
    • Add the pumpkin spice and vanilla. Mix well.
    • Pour in the Rice Krispies cereal, and mix so the cereal is coated with the marshmallow mixture.
    • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
    • Spread evenly using a fork coated in butter.
    • Once the rice krispie treats are spread evenly, press down gently with the fork.
    • Let the rice krispie treats set, for 30 – 60 minutes.
    • Cut into desired pieces.
    • Serve and Enjoy!

    Notes

Saucepan: I used a 5 qt. saucepan, so I can melt the butter and marshmallows and add the cereal directly into it. It’s fewer dishes. But if you don’t have a big saucepan, once the marshmallow mixture is melted, pour it into a large mixing bowl. Then add the Rice Krispies cereal to it.
The texture of rice krispie treats: This recipe makes an ooey gooey Holiday rice krispie treat. If you prefer a crunchier, drier texture, you will need to adjust the amount of cereal.

I'm a baker at heart and I love combining it with my air fryer. This recipe can have a batch of easy dinner rolls done so quickly. We all love those warm dinner rolls served when we're out to dinner. Now you can enjoy the same thing at home. Imagine watching the butter melt on the freshly opened rolls for mealtime magic.

    • Focaccia from scratch baked in under 15-minutes in the Ninja Foodi. Can you imagine the light salty crust and airy crumb? It is like having the best French Fry you have ever had but it's bread. We could always find Focaccia straight out of the oven when we lived back in Italy. Actually, we lived in Liguria where it originated. One thing I love was how easy it was to always find it fresh at the local bakery or I should say Focacciaria. Everyone needs to experience this Italian treat in their own home without jetlag. Focaccia in the Ninja Foodi is from-scratch with a crisp crust, tender and airy crumb. Even better this focaccia is done in under an hour…half of that time is just proofing. So, now it is my turn to share with you.
