A classic treat + Holiday spices = the perfect treat to enjoy from Halloween to Christmas. The Kitchen Bucket List wants you to get creative this Fall.
In a large saucepan, add the marshmallows and butter.
Over medium-low heat, stir until the marshmallows and butter are completely melted.
Add the pumpkin spice and vanilla. Mix well.
Pour in the Rice Krispies cereal, and mix so the cereal is coated with the marshmallow mixture.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Spread evenly using a fork coated in butter.
Once the rice krispie treats are spread evenly, press down gently with the fork.
Let the rice krispie treats set, for 30 - 60 minutes.
Cut into desired pieces.

Notes
Saucepan: I used a 5 qt. saucepan, so I can melt the butter and marshmallows and add the cereal directly into it. It's fewer dishes. But if you don't have a big saucepan, once the marshmallow mixture is melted, pour it into a large mixing bowl. Then add the Rice Krispies cereal to it. The texture of rice krispie treats: This recipe makes an ooey gooey Holiday rice krispie treat. If you prefer a crunchier, drier texture, you will need to adjust the amount of cereal.
