Can you air fry cookie dough
A big question I get is, “Can you air fry cookie dough?”. Yes, you can even air fry store-bought refrigerated cookie dough. There are a few things you have to take into consideration if you make the cookies from scratch.
All air fryers will cook differently depending on their style and size. Air fryers will also cook differently than an oven. So the temperature needs to be lower, in some cases significantly lower for a few reasons. First, you don’t want to overbake the outside of the cookie leaving the inside raw. Second, the fan on top speeds up as you select a higher temperature. So, you have to balance that in order not to disturb the dough during cooking, Finally, my biggest learning tip while making these cookies is to leave them in the air fryer for 1 – 2 minutes after the time is over. The residual heat will help finish cooking the inside perfectly. If you have any questions about “Can you air fry cookie dough?”, just comment or drop us an email.

Favorite Air Fryer tools
To make these chocolate chip cinnamon cookies I used a basket-style air fryer and parchment paper. The parchment paper is not necessary but makes cleaning much easier.
But the tool ❤I LOVE❤ and use every day is my cookie spatula.
Storage
If you only want to bake a few cookies, no worries, the chocolate chip cinnamon cookie dough will keep in the fridge for 2 days. The dough can be frozen by scooping the remaining into balls and placing them on a lined parchment plate. Freeze for 1 hour and then transfer them to a Ziploc bag. When you are ready for more fresh cookies, thaw them overnight in the fridge and cook them according to the directions. If you have any leftover cookies, place them in a Ziploc bag or airtight container at room temperature for a few days.
