    Fun facts about pecans

Pecans are one of the most eaten nuts in North America and by far one of my favorite nuts to bake with. They are great in pies, muffins, and cookies. Our honey roasted pecans are a great snack or enjoyed as a topping.

How to make honey roasted pecans

pecans in air fryer before cooking.
    1. In a large mixing bowl, pour the pecans and drizzle the honey over them. Mix the pecans with the honey ensuring they are coated.
    2. Add in cinnamon, brown sugar, and salt. Mix the pecans with the spices ensuring they are coated.
    3. Pour into the air fryer basket and cook on the manual setting at 300 degrees F for 10 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes.
    4. Then, when the pecans have a nice roasted/golden color, pour them into a cookie sheet to cool off. Separate them a little as they will be sticky. Allowing them to cool off they will dry out and become more crispy.
    5. Store them in an airtight container.
    6. Serve and Enjoy!
