Why I love creating our own roasted Almonds in the air fryer

It all started a few weeks ago at the grocery store. The kids were asking if they could get this new roasted mixed nuts bag. It was a new semi-sweet mix that looked really good, can’t blame them. They like to grab almonds or mixed nuts as a quick snack before heading out to play or with their lunch. I looked at the ingredients, unfortunately, had to say no. It wasn’t just a lot of sodium but all the other ingredients that you don’t find in your kitchen. We want flavors, not salt. Since my last few trails have been a success, I thought I give a semi-sweet a shot. We are all glad I did.

When doing our own roasted nuts we start with raw nuts or if not available lightly salted, in this case, almonds and we add the flavors that we want. You will be surprised how little you need.

    10. Serve and Enjoy!
