For the longest time breakfast in our house was a challenge. A constant debate over what the children wanted or didn’t. I was not happy about this as we started our day. The children were hungry but indecisive about what was available to eat. I did some research on how I could present food. I learned that the solution for my family was simple, get the children involved.
Get the kids involved
Getting the kids involved is the heart of our website, whether baking from scratch to air frying French toast sticks. When I wrote this post I wanted the girls to be involved with making breakfast. It started simply with my youngest adding her favorite fruit to granola. Francesca, my oldest, wanted to add Nutella. So we worked together on how to do that. She learned some food chemistry, how to mix, and how to let the air fryer granola cool. This easy granola recipe has ended our morning breakfast struggles. Now, making granola in the air fryer is a no-brainer, so quick and easy. Best decision ever and now the girls do dinners too!

FAQ
Once it is completely cooled off, we put it in an airtight container for 5 days. It only makes it for two days, before my crew has eaten it all upπ.
This granola is excellent just on its own as a snack. We mix it with yogurt, crumble it over ice cream, or just add milk.
We do this, so we have clusters. If you remove it from the basket while it is still warm, you will have much smaller pieces.
