Cooling rack (Openings large enough to shape taco shells)
Blackstone taco rack (Optional)
Griddle Spatulas
BBQ tongs
Ingredients
Corn tortillas
Flour tortillas(Small)
3tablespoonsolive oil(Vegetable oil)
1tablespoonsalt(Optional)
2tablespoonssoften butter(Optional)
Instructions
Preheat the Blackstone to low for 5 minutes.
Prepare your tortillas. Brush a light coat of olive oil and a pinch of salt.Tip: Place the oiled sides together like a sandwich and stack. This makes putting them on the griddle easier.
Turn off two side burners and lightly oil the griddle.
Place the tortillas, oiled-salted side down, on the griddle for 2 minutes. Put oil and salt on the other side as desired.
Flip the tortillas and grill for another 2 minutes or until desired crispiness.NOTE: Some of the tortillas will need a bit more time as the griddle top is not completely even on cooking. Additionally, if you crisp too long, it will be difficult to shape to shells.
Shape tortillas on the Blackstone taco rack.Tip: You can overlap tortillas as you form them on the rack.
