Air fryer cinnamon tortilla chips and apple pie dip

Time to answer that cinnamon and apple craving, with homemade apple pie dip and tortilla chips. The Kitchen Bucket List loves to share this easy air fryer dessert with you.
2-3apples, peeled, cored and diced (approximately 2 cups)I used Gala for the sweetness, but any apples that can be used for a pie will work as well.
2tablespoonslemon juice
2tablespoonspacked brown sugar
½teaspoonground cinnamon
2tablespoonswater
1 teaspooncornstarch diluted in 1 teaspoon hot water

How to make the cinnamon sugar tortilla chips
Place your tortillas on top of each other and with a pizza cutter or a knife, cut them into triangles. Like you will do for a pizza. I got about 16 slices for each tortilla.
Put the cut tortillas into a mixing bowl. Pour your melted butter over the tortillas and mix until they are covered.
In a small bowl, mix your sugar and cinnamon together, then sprinkle over the tortillas. Mix well until the seasoning covers the tortillas.
Place the tortilla pieces in the air fryer. You will put each piece flat and try not to touch the other ones. This allows the air to circulate better and make more of an even cook.
Cook in the air fryer at 350℉ for 5 minutes or until golden. Take them out and let them cool on a cooling rack.
Repeat steps 6 to 8 until you don't have any more tortillas left.
Serve with the warm apple pie dip.
How to make apple pie dip
Dilute the cornstarch in water. Set aside.
Peeled and core your apples. Then dice them into bite-sized pieces.
In a saucepan over medium heat, add your apples, lemon juice, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
Mix for 2 to 3 minutes or until the water starts to come out of the apples. You will have a sauce.
Add 2 tablespoons of water and mix.
Once you have a boiling mixture, add the diluted cornstarch to the mixture.
Mix for 1 to 2 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
Cool for a few minutes and serve with cinnamon sugar tortilla chips.
Notes
Another option for preparing the tortilla chips is to lightly butter them whole, then sprinkle the sugar & cinnamon over both sides. Just cut them and follow from step 6. Enjoy.
