Ingredients

  • cups old-fashioned oats
  • ½ cup whole almonds
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup Nutella
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon heavy cream
  • teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl mix oats, chocolate chips, and almonds together. Set aside.
  • In a saucepan on low heat, mix oil, Nutella, salt, maple syrup, and heavy cream.
  • Stir constantly until the mixture becomes a chocolate syrup, about 2-3 minutes
  • Take the saucepan off the heat and pour the chocolate mixture on the oatmeal dry mixture.
  • Mix until the chocolate mixture coats the oats, almonds, and chocolate completely.
  • Pour the granola mixture into the air fryer basket. Spread evenly and gently press down.
  • Bake in the air fryer at 320 degrees F, manual setting for 13-15 minutes or until the granola is crispy and golden.
  • Take the air fryer basket out of the air fryer and let the granola cool off for minimum of 30 minutes.
  • Then place the granola on a baking sheet and break it up into desired pieces/clusters.
  • Serve and Enjoy!

Almonds: The almonds can be substituted with your favorite nut
Chocolate chips: The chocolate chips can be substituted with another type of chocolate
Air fryer: I use the Cosori, but cooking times might be different with other types of the air fryer.
